AND PROBLEM SOLVERS

ISO Optimizer [OPT-1]
A unique transformer isolated Level optimizer. Transformer Ground isolation provides low-noise operation suitable for any level matching application. It allows you to attenuate the level from one piece of equipment to the next in order to provide the exact level required and reduce the risk of overloading sensitive inputs. The Iso Optimizer is a totally passive device with no power requirements, making it a truly universal problem solver. Security features include Kensington®-type computer lock slot and optional bracket kit for under-table mounting. Mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, and available in Dual Channel format only. Needs no power.

ISO Later [IL-1/IL-2]
Transformer isolated de-coupler, for removing Ground loops and for use in applications where complete Galvanic isolation is required such as Broadcast feeds and remote recording. Mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, and available in Single Channel (IL-1) or Double Header dual channel (IL-2) format. The unique Audibox Double Header format puts one channel on the front of the unit, and a second channel on the rear, putting two channels in the space of one! An ultra useful and convenient option. Needs no power.

ISO Splitter [IS-1/IS-2]
A transformer isolated 1 input to 2 outputs microphone / line splitter for dividing one input signal two ways in applications where complete Galvanic isolation is required. Mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, and available in Single Channel (IS-1) or Double Header dual channel (IS-2) format. The unique Audibox Double Header format puts one channel on the front of the unit, and a second channel on the rear, putting two channels in the space of one! An ultra useful and convenient option. Needs no power.

ISO Combiner Duo [IC-1]
The ISO-Combiner Duo is a new transformer isolated combiner for the Audibox range of Pro Audio tools and problem solvers. It is ideal for use in applications where two sources have to be combined into one signal, silently and easily. A pair of transformer balanced female XLR inputs on each side combine to deliver a single transformer isolated male XLR output in this essential audio package. Double Header Stereo format 4 Inputs (2 on front, 2 on rear), 2 Outputs (1 on front, 1 on rear). Needs no power.

ISO Switcher [ABS-1]
The simplest ideas are usually the best! The new ISO Switcher is a stereo Input signal switcher for the extremely popular Audibox range. A front panel push button switch silently switches between two pairs of A or B female XLR inputs to a stereo pair of XLR male output connectors. ARX ‘SoftSwitch’ technology achieves this with no loud noises through the audio system when switching. Typical applications include switching between Live Band or DJ when both are using the same speaker system.

ISO Balancer [IB-1]
A Dual channel Unbalanced to Balanced Low Impedance transformer isolated converter. The ISO Balancer will convert an Unbalanced RCA Low Impedance signal to a Balanced Low Impedance signal suitable for use with professional equipment and long cable runs. Transformer Ground isolation provides low-noise operation suitable for any application. Mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, and available in Dual Channel format only. Needs no power.

ISO De-Balancer [IB-2]
A Unique de-balancing unit, the De-Balancer will convert stereo XLR Balanced Low Impedance signals to Unbalanced RCA Low Impedance signals, to allow leads to run balanced from point A to point B and then be de-balanced for connecting to a high impedance/unbalanced input at the B end. This enables you to keep a balanced line all the way up to the input of an unbalanced unit, reducing hum, noise and interference pickup along the way. Transformer Ground isolation provides low-noise operation suitable for any application. Mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, and available in Dual Channel format only. Needs no power.

AV DI [AVDI]
Stereo AudioVisual Active Direct box, with dual RCA or stereo mini jack input and dual XLR outputs. The AV DI is ideal for interfacing computer sound cards with pro sound systems. Heavy duty all-steel chassis, –20 dB Pad switch, plus Phantom or 12 - 15V DC power options. Permanent soft audio ground network prevents ground loops, providing pristine audio quality. Ideal for interfacing any consumer stereo audio signal (especially notebook computer sound cards) with the balanced inputs of professional sound systems. Available in Dual Channel format only. Requires Phantom or DC power.

Ear Driver [ED-1]
The ARX Ear Driver is an ultra compact Headphone monitoring breakout box, allowing you to independently adjust the audio levels of up to 4 sets of headphones. Internally, true Class AB amplifiers drive the headphones, for pristine audio reproduction. As well as Left and Right RCA and 6.5mm/1/4" jack inputs, there is also a stereo Mini jack input, making the unit usable with any portable media player. Inserting a 6.5mm/1/4" into the Left Input only will Mono all Outputs for added flexibility. The Ear Driver's heavy duty all-steel chassis is finished in attractive matt textured blue polyurethane, with hardwearing epoxy screen printing and slip resistant rubber base pad.
The Ear Driver requires12V DC power to operate. This can be supplied from any 12 Volt wall mounted DC power supply, with the connector wired Centre Pin positive (+) and Outer Sleeve negative (–).

Pro-DI [PDI-1/PDI-2]
Flexible compact Active Direct boxes, with normal High Impedance input as well as a separate speaker level input for connection to an aux speaker output on the back of instrument amplifiers. Heavy duty all-steel chassis, –20 dB Pad and Audio Ground Lift switches, Loop output jack plus Phantom or DC power options. Available in Single Channel (PDI-1) or Double Header Dual Channel (PDI-2) format. Requires Phantom or DC power.

AudiBox PSU [PSU]
Fully regulated 15 volt DC Power Supply unit, ideally suited to the Audibox system. 110/120 or 220/240 V AC input with IEC power connector, and four individual 15 V DC screw terminal outputs, mounted in a heavy duty all steel chassis, with front mounted power switch and internal AC fuse. Short circuit protected, with automatic reset.

Rack Mount Kit [RMK-1]
Standard 19" rack mount kit available to rack up to 3 units plus power supply, or 4 individual Audibox units, in one rack space.

Single Unit Mount [TMK-1]
Mounting bracket kit for a single AudiBox.

New!

USB I/O VSR [USB-5]   NEW!
ARX is excited to present the new ARX USB I/O VSR  a true Plug and Play USB 24 bit High Resolution digital/analog pro audio interface. VSR stands for Variable Sample Rate - which allows the unit to record and playback at three different sample rates: 44.1, 48, and 96 KHz.

Plug and Play or Install ASIO Driver - your choice

The ARX USB I/O VSR installs as a fully compatible generic USB audio device. The default sample rate of 24 bit 44.1 KHz requires no special driver program installation on Mac OSX, Win XP, and Win7 or 8 - just plug and play. To run the expanded Hi Res sample rates of 48 and 96 KHz, an ASIO driver is available for download from the ARX website.

USB DI HP [USB-4]   NEW!
In response to many requests from users of our original USB DI who have been using it for specific applications, ARX is excited to present the new ARX USB DI-HP - everything that the original USB DI was, with the addition of a headphone output with its own level control. It is still a true Plug and Play 24 bit digital to analog pro audio interface, removing the need to use any existing sound card outputs, but now its output level can be monitored quietly and accurately. Naturally it still features full transformer balanced output isolation to eliminate earth loops / ground hum and other extraneous interaction noise and distortion.

The addition of the headphone output and control allows easy personal monitoring of the audio signal passing through the USB DI-HP without the need for Monitor Loudspeakers.
